Hello everyone! I just wanted to share this little critter I made a couple weeks ago. Someone on one of my LJ communities had posted this cat before. I've had this Sugar'n Cream yarn that I've wanted to make a little marmalade cat out of for months, and this pattern looked perfect for it.

It's hard to see, but it's got felt eye patches. I got the lovely green cat eyes from Suncatcher Eyes.

I added some felt paw pads and a felt belly, which I embroidered (badly) with my initials. My first embroidery!

Pattern: Fat Kitty by Jennifer Reeve

Also, I'm Moongate on Ravelry if anyone wants to be friends over there.

That came out awesome! I've come across that pattern before and want to make one for my mother-in-law, I just have to figure out what color to use... So many cats of hers to choose from.

Oh, cool! I'd been wondering if multicolored yarn would make a good cat. Mmm, cotton--I'll bet that kitty is nice and soft.

Ohh cute :D I love the shape and the fact you added little felt to the feet!

Awwww, that's adorable!

I might just have to try this, I bet I could turn it into a baby toy for my new niece. Just nix the plastic eyes and pop a little rattle in there. =D
