More Yule crafting, this time for my MIL. I'm not sure if I'm going to get all the needed crafting done by next week, but I've finished gifts for two people. I took a break from crocheting starting Friday, and I didn't start working on MIL's Yule Gift Blanket until last night.
This afternoon I had it completely done, washed and blocked. Not that it matters a whole lot with acrylic yarn, but the blanket now smells like lavender Dr. Bronner's which is slightly better than the "yarn from under the bed" smell.
I am most pleased with the result:
My camera was being weird about the coloring in our livingroom. Haven't figured out a way around it without ample amounts of sunlight which was in short supply on a dreary day like today:

These show the color much better:

I love Dr. Bronner's, especially the almond scent. I could sit there and just smell the bottle and not get anything done. :D
