Who's making what for family/friends/yourself for the holidays this season? This is the first year in awhile I'm not making something for other people, and I find myself wondering who's coming up with what. I'd love to see pictures if you have them (and can show them without your recipient seeing them of course).

This is the Molly Dolly, which I made for one of my nieces. The head, legs, and arms, were all crocheted directly onto the body, and the hair is just chain stitches that were joined to the head and then chained out again.

I am making ear warmer headbands and jute baskets for some of the people on my lists. Oh, and 2 afghans and a rug that looks like a big doilie. :)

I haven't decided yet... there may be some very last-minute quick scarves and hats happening. Again.

I'm on the "broke" side this year, so I'm crocheting most of my gifts. (I also seem to only be giving to my immediate family. I guess I'll try and think of something for my roommates/other friends?)

For my mom, I'm planning to make about a dozen of the small brain slugs from this free pattern. I'll probably be subbing in pipe cleaner for the antenna, because I get a little lazy with that many fiddly bits to make, but other than that it's full steam ahead.

For my dad, I'm going to crochet another of the smaller brain slugs, but I'm going to deviate a little bit: in addition to still using pipe cleaner, I'll be crocheting around a Styrofoam egg to make a bobble for the antenna of the family van. The one I made previously was apparently lost in a car wash accident.

For my brother, I've already made a pair of tangle buddies (click for pics) :Db I'm looking forward to seeing what he thinks of them ♥

I can't say I'm planning much of anything other than that. Maybe a few crinkly mouse-shaped cat toys for the cat owners in my life? And I'm definitely planning to do something for the Sister Claire 2 Year Anniversairy Contest, though I don't know if that counts.

Working on some granny square slippers right now! Using up stash AND making everyone something awesome = successful Christmas for me.

I am making 'handygloves' (fingerless gloves) for all my peeps, i think i'm around 15 pairs now (yeesh!)
I have no hope of finishing my bro's blanket by Yule time, but it's in the works.
Am making scarves for 4 kids for the Angel Tree thing through work.
Am making 1 baby blanket for one of the kids (well their mom, i guess) who asked for a baby blanket.
And another baby blanket (perhaps granny square flavor) for a co-worker who's having a baby in Jan.
OH - and also bagbags (bags made out of plastic bags) for my peeps as well (for those that don't care for handygloves)
And a few random scarves for folks who don't want handy gloves *or* a bagbag. :P

Thankfully my Yule is in mid-jan, so for most the projects i have plenty o'time.
The baby blanket is taking longer than expected tho!
