So it's been a while since I last posted, things got away with me, but I've still been working on a variety of crocheting projects. I've made a bunch of scarves - a couple were crocheted and the rest knitted and two hats.

If you want to see a larger image - click on the photos. :D
Both were crocheted using ice yarn - the first was Salsa and the second Flamenco. I found the instructions for crocheting with ice yarn on youtube - it only really works with the yarns that have larger holes - the very tight knit holes don't allow the freedom of movement needed for crocheting as far as I can figure out. Although I made two crocheted scarves - I made about five knitted ones and I think they probably worked better creating more of a 'ruffle' and a more substantial scarf. I guess it would depend on whether you wanted them as an accessory or for actual warmth.
I've also made a couple of hats

Both of these were crocheted using a pattern from "The Art of Crochet" magazine. I bought the yarn while in France so the details are in french I'm afraid - Phildar Iliade - and the shades were called 'Lin' and 'Rocaille', it was a 70-30 Acrylic/Wool mix. And because I couldn't get anyone else to model one of the hats for me, I give you this . . .

Next project is a crocheted headband
