I really like the colours in this :) I also like the different stitches, and I particularly like the spiked ones.

Is the pattern on the internet, or did you get it from a book?

Just made it up as I went along. Picked a different color and stitch for every round, then did single crochet in the greens and purples to solid it up a bit. Put some fabric glue on the back to stiffen it and now it's a servicable bit of wall art.

It's very nice, and I think this would be a great way to use small amounts of leftover yarn.

Yeah, I made some smaller ones for coasters, and did some festive bunting for around my room. Doing some more for the patio. :D It's quick, fun, and colorful. Great for something quick while watching 'Arrow' or something. :D
