So, I was making a cute little purse, and I managed to attach one of the handles with a twist in it.

Normally, this would not be a problem, I'd just undo a couple of loops and untwist, but I wove in the ends before I saw what I'd done. Does anyone have suggestions other than cutting the long strap entirely and doing it over? I can do that, I have the yarn for it, I'm just wondering if there's a better solution.

Yes, I'd also attempt to unweave the troublesome end if you can find it at all. I understand from elsewhere you made it in acrylic, so it won't felt (felting might conceal 90% of the problem). Good luck!
