Question: Best Ergonomic Tools?

I have arthritis, among other issues, all of which make it hard for me to knit/crochet/whatever for any length of time.

I have some ergonomic hooks, and some massaging "handeeze" gloves, but I could swear I once saw something vaguely egg-shaped you could attach to ANY crochet hook and thus make it ergonomic. It wasn't like the thin sort of things that you can put on a pencil or pen; truly, it looked like an egg.

Does anyone have a clue what I mean? In addition, any suggestions for things to try?

I have the Boye ones, so the handles are all different sizes. If I had any sort of engineering ability, I'd just design my own. But the polymer clay could work I guess?

Those wooden ones linked below are beautiful, but man, I couldn't afford that.
